Water Level Gauge

  A water level gauge measures the free surface elevation of a body of water. It measures this elevation relative to a vertical datum. This information is helpful for navigational purposes. The gauge is also known as a stage or gauge height. It is a handy tool for waterways and reservoirs. It is used in many different applications. There are several different types of  water level gauges  available for aquariums. For potable water tanks, a two-inch gauge will give you a visible indication of water level.
